Washi Journey Tape Creations

Fun Stamper Journey has some wonderful styles and colors of Washi Tape.  Here's the items numbers for the ones currently available:

Bright Day Journey Tape AC-0164  3 styles 5/8" wide and 15 yards each
Be Cool Journey Tape AC-0165  3 styles 5/8" wide and 15 yards each
Sweet Tape AC-0127 1 roll 2" wide and 10 yards 
      The Sweet Tape is what I used for these projects.

I created a mosaic pattern on Whip Cream Card Stock by tearing the Sweet Tape into tiny and attaching to the Whip Cream Card Stock.   No glue or other adhesive needed.   Then I sponged Lavender Fusion ink over the tape filling in the white areas.   Then gently take a paper towel and wipe off any excess.   Washi/Journey Tape has a finish to it that will repel some of the ink, so wiping it off is a good idea.

My next project was to make a cover for a note pad.   I used full strips of the Washi/Journey Tape on the top and bottom.   Then sponged the center, but not over the tape.   Added in a ribbon and attached to my note pad.

The floral design is already on the note pad.   I added in some Artful Butterflies DI-0007 to finish the look with a row of rhinestones on the bodies.  Cut rhinestones   AC-0023 (pack of 108)

I was very pleased with the outcome of the note pad.   Took it with me to Fun Stampers Journey Convention last week.   Photos, details, sneak peeks and more very soon.
