Often the perfect gift is a gift card. Creating a holder for it can be a challenge if you don't want to slip it just directly inside of a card. I have a solution for you that is pretty quick and very easy to do. We have a wonderful die call the Window Pocket Die DI-0150 and it is perfect for creating a gift card (or even a business card holder). This die can be used in our Amaze Die Cutting Machine or the Platinum Die Cutting Machine.
Here's the gift card holder I made:
Sneak Peek Item: Silver Sparkle Tape AC-0259
1/2" x 5 1/2 yards and it is scalloped
I created the pull out piece using a 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece of cardstock.
Then attached a tag to it from the Everyday Tags Die Set DI-0255
so that it had a fancier top/pull.
Accented the top/pull with our Just Write Gels Pens JD-0060
Main piece accented with Journey Silks.
The back of the green tag is the perfect side to attached a gift card.
Just adhere with a Journey Glue Dots or two AD-0083
for easy removal.
The Window Pocket Die created the brown sleeve on the
left. I used a couple of strips of White Liner Tape
on the tabs to hold it together. Then added in the
Silver Sparkle Tape and Butterflies.
The butterflies were accented with Journey Glaze AD-0002 and
Journey Sparkle Dust AC-0013.
