Here's the steps I did to cut and then emboss the design on my Journey Platinum Machine TO-0090:
Regular Cutting Sandwich:
Platform
Orange Cutting Plate
Card Stock
Die - Cutting Edge Down
Orange Cutting Plate
Run Through the Machine
Remove outer edge of card stock.
DO NOT remove from the die itself.
This is the embossing sandwich:
Magnetic Platform
Die with Cut Side UP and card inside of the die.
Tan Embossing Mat
Green Embossing Plate
Run Through the Machine
This is how it will looks after being run
through the machine.
Use the Bloom Tool TO-0073 to
poke out the small circles and remove card stock from die.
This is what it looks like opened up.
Crease line down the middle.
Tab in lower left corner.
Crease line down the middle.

Fold on the crease lines.
Add some Craft Glue AD-0111 to the tab,
glue together and clip to secure.
Once dried, remove clips.
The sleeve will now easily slide on to
your card corner.
This is a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4" card (A2)
The die can be just cut or can be cut and embossed. Choice is yours. And of course, you can always decorate the die cut item too. I like to add a couple drops of the Craft Glue to secure the sleeve on the card front.
