This card background (inset) was created by using the Dowel Daubers and "The Good Life" collection of ink pads. I lightly swirled all six colors onto the Whip Cream Card Stock. When I finished, it made me think of sunshine and my card inspiration was born.

I used the Journey Scallop Die Set to cut out the scalloped image on the front of the card. Put my swirled background behind it and then adhered both pieces to my card base.
The inside sentiment is also from the Sending Sunshine Stamp Set and it was cut out with the Journey Rectangle Die Set. I love the paper piercing elements that are in that die set.
I used a dauber dowel with pad to color in the Buffalo Check Stencil. The background is Buttercream Cardstock and the ink pad to color in the stencil is Chambray Shirt. I also used Chambray Shirt Card Stock. Images were stamped with Black Licorice Ink Pad.

When you are stamping and using the daubers to color in, it is much
better to color the area first and then stamp the image over the top.
If you stamp, then use the dauber you do take the risk of the stamped
image bleeding a bit into the color. So for this card I did the dauber
coloring first, then stamped, than fussy cut out. I did fussy cutting
because colors outside of the line ... but this would of happened
whichever way I used the dauber.
Card base can be color of your choice. Same with background and camera colors. Isn't it great fun to have choices!
