Happy Birthday and Thinking of You Cards
Here are three cards I made this last week. Each uses a different technique, but all were easy to create.
The first card was made using an embossing folder and a stamp set that were included in the Tonic Cardmaking Magazine. The magazine is now sold out. I covered the embossed image with:

I stamped random flower pots to create this background. This did a stripe of copper/bronze to accent each one. The card base also had bronze silks to tie in the colors. Hello is a die from FSJ.
The last card is layers of matching pink card stock and ribbon. I used my Altenew Watercolor Half Pans to color the flowers and leaves. Then covered the flower and leaves with FSJ Journey Glaze to give it shine. Stamp set is from FSJ also.

Christmas Cards Using Snowy Path Background Stamp - LOVE IT!
The minute I saw this stamp I knew I had to have it!!! It was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!. I was so excited to find it at Scrapbook.com
Scrapbook.com is here locally for me which is wonderful. They only sell on-line, but now allow local pickup of orders. If I choose local pickup, there is no charge for shipping!!! That saves me so much money AND my dear husband never minds driving over there. They carry so many different brands of products, it truly is a one stop shopping store for the crafter.
Here's the stamp ... Snowy Path made by Deep Red. It is a cling, red rubber stamp so the details are amazing.
It is a large red rubber stamp which works beautifully on an A2 (5 1/2 x 4 1/4) size card.
I did 4 different versions using this stamp. Each stamped image was done with a darker gray (not black) ink pad. I did use FSJ River Stone for these images and it worked well. All card stock, ribbon, ink, Journey Glaze, and Sparkle Dust (glitter) are from FSJ.
Unfortunately you can't see the glitter or Journey Glaze accents in my photos but the both add a WOW factor to the cards.

This cute little Scotty is from the Fiskars Stamp Set: Barking Mad that I showed yesterday on my blog. I accented the edges of the card with NUVO Embellishments Mousse which gives it a shiny, metallic edge. Accents of Journey Glaze on the stamped image too.
This stamped image was set behind a cutout to make it look like a framed photo. Added a ribbon and bow at the base. Accents of Journey Glaze on the stamped image too.
For this card, I added ribbon to the top and bottom then layered on the stamped image which had been accented with Journey Glaze.
This is a more simple card HOWEVER it is loaded with sparkles. I put drops of Journey Glaze all over the cards, added Sparkle Dust and let dry. Shook off excess. No matter what angle you are looking, the card sparkles and shines.

Sparkle Trim Stamp Set Used With Branch Cone Die Set - Christmas Card - Fun Stampers Journey Products
So excited to share with you my finished So Plaid Ribbon background card. I am a little late posting it to my blog today, but had to share it as soon as I finished it.
After attaching the ribbon background to the Fresh Forest Card Base, I decided to cut out the pine branches and pine cones using the Branch Cone Die set. I accented the pine cones with a bit of Journey Glaze and Sparkle Cuts (chunky glitter). The sentiment "Merry Christmas" is from the stamp set called Sparkle Trim and stamped with Black Licorice Ink Pad. Using the Corner Rounder, I rounded the corners and then brushed it on the Fresh Forest Ink Pad for a bit of color on the edges. The pine branches were glued down with our Journey Craft Glue. The pine cones and sentiment are attached with foam squares.
Yesterday's blog post shows a close up of just the ribbon background that I created by weaving strips of the ribbon. CLICK HER TO VIEW.

Halloween Cards Using Party Ghost, Annual Celebration, and Journey Blooms Holiday Set - Fun Stampers Journey Products
Halloween is just a little over six weeks away. I always make a few cards to mail out. Do you make and send Halloween cards? Here are a couple I have made this week.
These A2 cards are quick and easy to make. I added a bit of Journey Glaze as accents on both cards. It adds some dimension and design to the cards. Aren't the Wiggle Eyes a cute touch too! Wonder what critters are hiding in the dark.

On The Road Holiday Clips Used With Faux Quilt Design to Create Christmas Cards - Fun Stampers Journey Products
Faux Quilt Technique and graduated die cuts were used to create these two Christmas cards. There are so many different graduated die sets that you could use to create different looks for cards, scrapbooks, or other paper crafting projects you are working on.
