Lots of sparkle and shine for this card using Journey Glaze, Sparkle Dust, and then Sparkle Silk on the starts.   Wanted the stars to have more of silvery look.

Change the Layout of the Same Elements to Create Two Different Card Looks

At Fun Stampers Journey Convention, we are asked to donate a patriotic card.   One of the Coaches sends them to a US military minister for a unit in Afghanistan.   They are given to the service men and women to help boost moral when they are having a tough time.   Inside the card is a personal note from the creator of the card (in this case me) thanking the recipient for their service.

The cards needs to be more flat (no button or high levels of embellishments), can't have anything on it that sparkles or glitters, and no identifiers on who is sending the card other than a first name.

Here are two of the cards I made this morning.   Both have the exact same elements (same colors, same sizes, same stamps).   However notice how the placement of the elements changes the complete look of the card.  Of course, I had to make the card red, white, and blue.

For the first card I centered all the pieces.

For the second card I lined up all of the pieces with the lower left hand corner.

Bucket List Stamp Set is Perfect for a Party - Fun Stampers Journey

The Bucket List Stamp set is perfect for a party invitation.   It includes a party banner, cups, cans, ice, a bucket list and MORE.   The ice can be accented with our new Sparkle Silk to give it a bit of shine and sparkle.   Wish you could see the sparkle in the photo.   I added it to the ice, to the inside of the cups and to the banner itself.   All pieces were fussy cut out.   The coloring was done with our Color Burst pencils.  Background is the Picnic Pattern Stamp Set and was stamped with Denim Ink Pad.

Beautiful America and Deco Wall Stamp Sets From Fun Stampers Journey

The Deco Wall Stamp Set (background stamp) makes a beautiful backdrop for Lady Liberty.   Lady Liberty is part of a 12 piece stamp set called Beautiful America.   Perfect for any patriotic occasion including the 4th of July.   I fussy cut the images out with my Details Pro Shears.  These scissors are non-stick and self-sharpening.

I actually put the scalloped Silver Washi Tape (2 pieces of it) under the Candy Apple Satin Ribbon.   Did all of my stamping with Denim Days Ink Pad.

At convention they showed us how to make ring/circle garland using the stars and strips border stamps.   Stamp, cut out and make a ring by gluing the ends together.   Then take the next one and feed through the ring and then make a ring by gluing the ends together.   Cute idea.
