Wonderful Day Stamp Set Get Well Card - Fun Stampers Journey Products

It's been fun and interesting the last week to be working with stamp sets and dies that are on the retirement list starting May 1.   With each one, I try to come up with new and different ideas and think outside the box.   I do make a lot of cards each month, and try to offer as much variety for my blog followers, customers, and newcomers as possible. 

This get well card was made using the Wonderful Day Stamp Set SS-0126 which is a set of 9 stamps.   I colored in the flowers with our Journey Color Burst Pencils JM-0077 which is a set of 48 pure color pencils in a metal tin.

Olive Green Satin Ribbon was used to accent the card with a bow.   AC-0107

1.  Choose a background.

2.  Stamp the image and the sentiment in Denim Days Ink IP-0010

3.  Put Journey Glaze AD-0002 over flowers and while still wet sprinkle with Sparkle Dust AC-0013.

4.  Splatter drops of Beach Ball Silk IP-0145 over the card front. 

       Beach Ball Silk has the most beautiful blue/green iridescent sparkle to it.

5.  The card base is Denim Days Card Stock CS-0082

Just Because Stamp Set & Die Set Bundle To Retire - Fun Stampers Journey Products

Oh my gosh, this is one of my most used "sentiments" and I love the flower that comes with the set.   I must admit I don't have the die that goes with it as the stamped images were easy to fussy cut.   The Just Because Stamp Set, Die Set, and the Bundle will all be on sale as of May 1.

This card just feels like Spring to me.  The soft color of Cool Pool mixes so beautifully with the Sweet Berry.  So many color options could be used to changed the look.  A must have stamp set!

I used the Ink Splat Embossing Folder EF-0008 to add in texture and dimension.   The center of the flower is one of our Rainbow Drops AC-0178 that I attached with a glue dot.

Gone Surfing Stamp Set Will Be Leaving Soon Due to Retirement - Fun Stampers Journey Products

Set of 8 stamps

To create the look of the dunes/sand, I hand tore the Oatmeal Cookie Card Stock, then added touches of Journey Glaze.  The background is printed paper (retired), but the sky background could easily be created with PanPastels, Liquid Colors, or the Gel Press.   I felt the Nature Buttons were the perfect accessory for this card.  They are textured like shells and the other side is like alabaster shell with its iridescence.   The buttons were glued on with a few drops of our Journey Craft Glue.

Too Cute! Stamp Set SS-0047, Bloom Stars embellishments AC-0287 are set to retire from the Fun Stampers Journey Product Line.   They will go on sale as of May 1 and there are limited quantities, so only available while supplies last!   

I love these products and will be sad to see them go.   The little girls in the stamps set just bring smiles to my day.   A little bit of Journey Glaze over the eye glasses, make them appear to be real.  

Did you noted the beautiful pink ombre' on the cut piece of printed paper?   It is the back side of the floral piece.   LOVE this paper.   I have used it a great deal for my samples this week.    Spring Filled Prints PP-0051 was in our Bloom This Way Catalog and no longer available.   When I was doing my samples this week, I was thinking it was in our main catalog and set to retire.   I know many of your purchased it last quarter.

I cut out one of each of the dies using Banana Cream Card stock.   Then accented with FSJ different types/styles of Washi Tape and embellishments.   You can write the person's name on the front or the back of the tags.   Choice is yours.  Add a thread or thin ribbon to the top of the tag if you would like.

Inside & Out Stamp Set - Hats Off Die Set - Star-Dom Die Set AND FSJ Silks are on Sale

Yesterday I was inspired to create a graduation card.   Seems impossible that June is just around the corner and that means graduation for many is just around the corner too.   You still have time to order supplies needed for graduation cards especially our wonderful new Hats Off Die DI-0441 that creates the graduation cap and tassel shown in the card below. 

I wanted a card that was unique and had the feeling of celebration.   I chose a bright card base color (Beach Breeze) then accented with Brushed Silver, Black Licorice, and Lemon Drop.    The background of the card base was splattered with SEVEN (7) different colors of our Silks.  I love the look of sparkle to it and the look of confetti falling. 

Don't forget that our Silks and Splashes are 20% off through the end of April.   Great time to stock up.

The small faux leather stars are a Bloom Benefit called Bloom Stars.  It is in our main catalog and is one of the free option for a $50 order.    The stars were a perfect fit for the stars I die cut and used the piercing element die on.   The Bloom Stars have a large glue dot on the back of them so adhere securely to the other stars.    Here's a close-up of the star:

Depth and dimension were added by applying foam squares underneath each item.

Happy Adventure Stamp Set Pairs Beautifully with Lots of Dots Die Set - Fun Stampers Journey Products

The Lots of Dots Die Set was used to created this dotted background which I accented with Journey Silver and Cranberry Bliss Silks.  The Happy Adventure Stamp Set was used to stamp the image of the car and the sentiment.   The truck and flowers were colored in with our Journey Burst Color Pencils.     Then finished it off with a triple bow made from Gingham Sweet Berry Ribbon.

Wouldn't this make a cute anniversary card!
