In Love Stamp Set Perfect For Many Occasions - Penny Black Stamp Set

Valentine Projects, Day 4 - Fun Stampers Journey Products

I've been having so much fun making Valentine gifts/surprises the last week.   Hope you are all ready, and if not, I hope that my blog has given you some inspiration.

Chocolate kisses are a favorite in our home.   So yesterday I got busy and decorate a bowl of them for Valentine's Day.

I used our paper punch cartridge "Love Is" to punch out both red and also white hearts.   The cartridge punches them in three sizes which are perfect for layering.

This is another project where our Craft Glue is a must have.  It is liquid and white in color.   When it dries, it dries clear.

The hearts are glued and layered together.   Next I will add the Craft Glue to the back of the heart then firmly press the bottom of the foil wrapped heart to it and allow to dry.

I put them in a white dish, added a layered ribbon I made and then set it all on top of two large layered hearts.   This is the first time I have used the Candy Apple Sparkle Ribbon.   It is gorgeous!!!  So many sparkles on it.

A look from the top.   I used the Heart-Felt Die Set and Piercing Die Set to create the layered heart shape base that the dish is set on. 


I'm pleased with the results, and feel it looks cute for the day.

Valentine Projects Day 2 - Video - Fun Stampers Journey Products

Valentines Day is such a fun time of the year to be creative.   There are so many great ideas for cards and gift items.   This week, I will have two videos to share with you that will show you how to create the Chocolate Bar Slider (left side in photo) and the Chocolate Bar Cover (right side of photo).

Today I wanted to share the photo of the projects and also a quick video I did showing you the finished products.   I did make a bit of a mistake when I created the Chocolate Bar Cover, which I do share in the video.  It shows that even seasoned crafters can make mistakes.    I have modified the design.   While it will look the same, it will work beautifully.

Doily Heart Happy Anniversary Card - Fun Stampers Journey

This card has layers, die cutting, fussy cutting, embellishments, accents of Silks, and even used daubers with ink to create the marbling in the background.   My inspiration was the Doily Heart Stamp Set and the card grew from there.

Card base is Tangerine Fusion.   I cut a smaller piece (3 3/4 x 5") for layering.   The layering piece  I used our new daubers with Turbo Teal ink along with Sour Lemon ink to rub into the card stock.  This created the marbling effect.   Gold and Bronze Silks were used as a splatter across the background.

The Heart Doily was stamped with was stamped with Tangerine Fusion Ink Pad and then fussy cut out.

The larger heart was cut out using the Heart-Felt Die Set, then was embossed with the Petals Wall Embossing Folder.

The hearts from Amazing Accents set were brush painted with Gold Silks to add a bit of simmer and shine to the wood.  When I attached them to the card I used our Craft Glue, pressed firmly in place, and let dry. 

Vintage Lace (this is on the retiring list that goes live May 10th) was attached to the card layer before I attached it to the card base.

Simple to Make Valentine With Sweet Spring Printed Paper - Fun Stampers Journey

I used Candy Apple Card Stock for the card base.   I die cut the large heart out of the front of the card using my Amaze Die Cutting Machine and the Heart Felt Dies.

Using a 5 1/4" x 4 1/4" inch piece of Sweet Spring Paper, I line the inside of the card to fill in the heart.   Careful with the adhesive placement, you don't want it to end up on the card front.  

Inside I will either stamp a sentiment or write a personal note.

Some Valentine Fun Using Bloom Benefits Butterflies - Fun Stampers Journey

So much fun to make Valentine cards.   This one used embossing folders, silks, thread, sponging, and dies.   I wanted to step the card up a bit, and I think I accomplished my goal.

The butterflies are Cork Flutter AC-0273 which is a Bloom Benefit.   The pack is 8 pieces ... 2 large and 6 small cork butterflies.   The are cork color in the package and are self-adhesive.    I decided to paint them with Journey Silks to change the color.   The Silks have an applicator brush similar to a nail polish brush.   I painted them about 3 times each as the cork absorbs some of the color.   They have lots of shine when the light hits them.   Remember to let them dry.   I painted them once they were on the card, but I had to be extra careful doing it that way.   Much easier to paint them on the clear sheet they are mounted on when you open them up. 

I embossed a piece of Bubble Gum card stock using the Petals Wall Embossing Folder.   Then I sponged it with Candy Apple Ink.  Also put a layer of the Bumble Gum card stock inside the card for a handwritten note.

The heart was die cut in my Journey Platinum Machine TO-0090 using the Heart Felt Die Set. 

I wrapped Bumble Gum Thread around the card a few times, and tied a bow.

Top:   Cut out with the design die only.  Perfect for a card front.

Center:   Easy way to make your own confetti.

Bottom:  Cut out using both the outline and the design pieces of the die.

Die cut design is 5 1/2 x 2 inches.   Perfect for a card front.
