I added a bit of black PanPastel to one of the backgrounds I created the other day in my video and used it to showcase the black cat. Thought it would make a cute card for Halloween. The Pumpkin Patch Bow was a great addition to the cat I thought plus added a pop of color.
I have a question for you .... I have started to add in product photo and links at the bottom of each blog post. Which do you like better .... with or without the prices? The system I am using to display the items does not show the sale pricing, just the regular pricing. If you click on an item (like the Whip Cream Card stock), it will show the sale price on my business website where you order. Today I have included the pricing. These A2 cards are quick and easy to make. I added a bit of Journey Glaze as accents on both cards. It adds some dimension and design to the cards. Aren't the Wiggle Eyes a cute touch too! Wonder what critters are hiding in the dark.
I know this is a little late with Thanksgiving being tomorrow, but with the move the last couple of weeks this was my first time to get creative.
Our wonderful friends (Becky, Mac, Ben, & Mia) sent us Halloween photos they had taken. Janice, my upline, sent me a surprised package that contained this scrapbook page kit she had created for a class along with 3 other card kits. What a perfect match. I got busy the other night printing out the photos and assembling the page. Decided it needed a few ghosts and a Trick or Treat sign too. So much fun to create.
Once finished, I actually hung it on the wall in the craft area. It just makes me smile.

I have to share two more of my samples using the Retiform (Grid) Stamping Technique. Doing this style can be habit forming ... LOL ... as you can tell by my blog posts this week. As I worked with the lines and the colors, I just saw more and more possibilities. I didn't want to stop.
The Party Ghost Stamp Set SS-0499 Set of 17 stamps was a purchase I had made at the Fun Stampers Journey Convention in June. This was my first time to use these cute little ghosts, and I know there will be more times in my future. So darn cute whether stamped only or stamped and colored in. I accented the card with Silks (Orange Rave and Journey Silver).
I think the addition of the Fashion Gold pieces to the Sweet Hello card gave it a bit of extra "POP".
Just a reminder: Whenever you use a darker color base for your cards, be sure to put a piece of lighter card stock inside so you can easily write a note or stamp a sentiment.
