Summer Bouquet Steel Rule Die Flower Creations - Fun Stampers Journey Products

Using the Fun Stampers Journey Create-a-Palette stamp pad and the Summer Bouquet Steel Rule Die I was able to easily create these beautiful flowers.

The flowers are approximately 3 1/2" x 3 1/2".   The printed/color areas were cut out from the Create-a-Palette sheets I made the other day.  The directions/video are HERE for the printed sheets.
I layered the different flowers by size, attached them with a colorful brad, and then accented with Journey Glaze and Sparkle Silk.   These are perfect for cards, packages, and other decorative items.

The Summer Bouquet Steel Rule Die from Fun Stampers Journey is 8 1/2" x 11" and requires a larger platform machine to cut these out.   The Journey Platinum Machine is perfect for these larger steel rule dies.

Create-A-Palette Video Tutorial: Inking Palette and Creating With it - Fun Stampers Journey Products

Create-a-Palette Creations - Fun Stampers Journey Products

Create-a-Palette is a brand new product (July 1, 2017) for Fun Stampers Journey.  I saw it demonstrated at convention last month and purchased one for myself.   Here's what it looks like brand new:

It has 5 sections for you to add color to using either our True Color Fusion Re-Inkers OR Liquid Colors.  Do not mix types of inks on your palette .... either use ALL re-inkers or ALL Liquid Colors.

For my Create-a-Palette I used:

I used the Sweet Poppy Stamp Set AT-0266 Set of 2 stamps for the flowers below and inked them with my Create-a-Palette shown above.

Each flower comes out uniquely different when using this stamp pad.   I fussy cut each one out and will use them on a card soon.

You know how much I love backgrounds.   I took the Create-a-Palette, setting it in a corner of my card stock and then pulling it in a circular motion over the card stock.  Moved the palette around the card to create these backgrounds.   Created 4 in all.   Love how much they look like stained glass.  These were created with ONLY using the Create-a-Palette stamp pad.

Isn't this unique and different.   Can't wait to make them into cards.

Did you notice the unique background behind the sentiment and the gift packages?   It was created using our Gel Press, Huckleberry Ink Pad, and Sparkle Silk.   Here's a close-up of it before I made it into the card:

It really reminded me of peacock feathers.   I inked the Gel Press with Huckleberry Fusion Ink Pad then flicked on Sparkle Silk.  The Sparkle Silk causes a separation of color when applied.   It is so unique and so beautiful.

RG Presents Was An Amazing Fun Filled Event on Saturday - Fun Stampers Journey

When you are stamping and using the daubers to color in, it is much better to color the area first and then stamp the image over the top.   If you stamp, then use the dauber you do take the risk of the stamped image bleeding a bit into the color.   So for this card I did the dauber coloring first, then stamped, than fussy cut out.   I did fussy cutting because colors outside of the line ... but this would of happened whichever way I used the dauber.

Card base can be color of your choice.  Same with background and camera colors.   Isn't it great fun to have choices!

Mystic Romance Cards - Details - Fun Stampers Journey

Today I am showcasing the 8 cards that were on my video/blog post yesterday.   This way you will see the cards up close and also more details on the products used to create them.

The backgrounds were created from the Gel Press Design and the Stamped Off Image I designed last week.   I cut each 8 1/2 x 11 sheet into background sheets and proceeded to make cards.
