I discovered quite by accident that the small rectangle shaped Vagabond Chips AC-0354 will fit together if you slide them down just a notch. The one above I painted with Journey Gold Silk. When they were dry, I glued them together using Journey Craft Glue AD-0111 on a piece of Cream Card Stock CS-0040 and allowed it to dry.
This is the back of the piece AFTER I had trimmed it down and added some Journey Gold Silk IP-0096 to the outer edge. I did add in some flecks of the silk before I added in the Rainbow Drops and Journey Glaze. Right after I applied the Journey Glaze AD-0002, I sprinkled Journey Sparkle Cuts AC-0151 over the top for a little more sparkle.
This photo represents the step by step process. I have used the Vagabond Chips that look like a globe. 1st one: Original piece 2nd One: Painted with Journey Gold Silk, glued to a piece of Whip Cream Card Stock. Just dropped in the Rainbow Drops - no adhesive behind them. 3rd One: Finished Product ... I filled in with Journey Glaze and allowed to completely dry. It will be easy to cut around the globe to make it a free standing piece that can be used alone or as an embellishment.
Did you realize that Rainbow Drops come in their own acrylic/plastic container that is hinged and locks! It has 768 pieces, 6 colors, and 3 sizes of each color. AC-0178. The drops can be attached with a glue dot, craft glue, Journey Glaze, or adhesive and can change the look/color by putting a different color of card stock behind it.
