I made team buttons using Shrinky Dinks frosted sheets. I cut them with our circle steel rule die, then stamped with the pelican image. I used a black Sharpie to print our team name. FSJ Color Burst pencils were perfect for coloring the image in. Next I baked them in the oven which shrinks them to 1/3 their original size. When completely cool, I used Sparkle Silk all over the top of the button. I adhered magnetic backs to these. It really needs a strong glue because of the strength of the magnets.
At convention registration we were so lucky to meet Kara who is the designer of this pelican stamp set. Stamp set is called "Hello Pelican" AT-0237.

My next projects were a number of notepads. Some had names and dates, some were designs. But each was made with a specific person in mind. The ones with names, I was able to find out their favorite color to use for the background.
The notebooks are 6 x 9 inches with spiral tops. Perfect for note taking at convention general sessions.
