Birthday Card for a Turtley Awesome Friend - Fun Stampers Journey Products

Did you realize that Fun Stampers Journey has a full line of background stamps?  They start on Page 208 of the main catalog and go through Page 219.   They are great for creating unique backgrounds for your cards.   This card used the Deco Wall Background Stamp which is 4 1/4" x 5 3/8".   I trimmed my stamped image down for this card. 

I wanted the card base and the background stamp image color to match so used Pool Play for both the card stock and the ink pad. 

The stamp and die sets are called Turtley Awesome.  They can be colored in with our Color Burst or our Color Splash Pencils.   I used the Color Splash Watercolor Pencils for this card.

Tool Rule Birthday Card - Fun Stampers Journey Products

I needed two masculine birthday cards this month.   Tools Rule Stamp & Die Sets are perfect for these types of cards.   This bundle can be used for so many types of cards:   Birthday, anniversary, thank you, thinking of you, and more.  Whether you use our Color Splash or Color Burst pencils, the stamped images are distinct and easy to color in.    I used the Color Splash (watercolor) pencils on each image and propped them up on the card with foam squares.   Isn't our Brush 01Silver Card Stock perfect for the embossed background.  It reminded me of a tool box when I choose it.   I lightly inked the TOOLS RULE sentiment to accent it just a bit more.   I forgot to take a photo of the inside of the card, but it had the tool belt stamped image that I fussy cut out.

Peach Blossom Stamp Set - Sample - Fun Stampers Journey Products

Just a quick post today to share with you a new project I am working on.   I have used the Peach Blossom Stamp Set SS-0342 (set of 5 stamps) along with the Color Splash Watercolor pencils.   Completed card will be shown soon.

This is a work in progress .... images were stamped with Black Licorice Ink Pad.   Then used the Color Splash pencils from Fun Stampers Journey to color them in.   As you can see some of them have already been fussy cut out.  Will share the card with you soon.

"Happy Mail" - What a wonderful surprise! - Fun Stampers Journey Products

I absolutely love receiving "Happy Mail".   The other day I received a package of "Happy Mail" from my friend, Jennifer Gross.   Jennifer and I met 2 years ago because of Fun Stampers Journey.   Here's what she sent me.  It brought so many smiles to my day.

First she sent me a little card that she had created along with a business card that was enclosed in a plastic envelope and included a planner clip she had made from a paper clip and a stamped image of a hat.   So cute.   She made a planner bookmark/decoration with ribbon, twine, and thread and also sent me some washi tape.    She is so talented and creative.


Thank you so much Jennifer for all that you do.   You have brought so many smiles to my day.

Happy 31st Wedding Anniversary - Card For My Honey - Fun Stampers Journey Products

Today is our 31st wedding anniversary.   Seems impossible as the time has just flown by.  I wanted to make a special and unique card for my husband, Hal.  

Campfire Friends with its cute bears seemed like a perfect choice.   Inside the card I wrote a personal note.

The card base is whipped cream card stock.   I created the background using our PanPastels and Gold Silk for accents.    The bears are colored in with Color Burst Pencils.   The bears and the sentiment was stamped with Dark Roast Ink Pad.

Golden Birthday Card - Tone on Tone - Fun Stampers Journey Products

A dear friend's daughter celebrated her "Golden Birthday" yesterday.   I honestly had no idea what a Golden Birthday was, so looked it up.   It is when your age is the same as your birth date.   Mia turned 8 on January 8th so this was her Golden Birthday.

I knew I had to make a card perfect for the occasion, and thought I should try tone on tone with shades of gold.   We have brushed gold and gold mirror papers along with gold washi tape.   I got all my supplies out and let the creating begin.  

Here's is my finished card for Mia:

The brushed gold was used for the card base and background.   I cut the oval out and used the oval die element to give it the paper piercing effect.     Added in the gold design washi tape, and then added in the die cut flowers and leaves.  

I was so pleased with the results.   Wouldn't this be perfect for a golden wedding anniversary card too?   If you needed one for the silver anniversary, don't forget we have brushed silver & silver mirror paper along with silver washi tape too.
