This is another example of an offset layering for the card. The sharp contrast of Black Licorice, Cranberry Bliss, and Bubble Gum Card Stock make the card POP.
I created my own background on the Bubble Gum Card Stock using Black Licorice Ink Pad and Wonderful Day Stamp Set. Then added it a bit of shine/glitz using the Journey Gold Silk.
The flower in the lower left corner was fancy cut and put on the card with Journey Foam Squares. Fancy cut just means to cut out with a small pair of scissors that will allow you to do precision cutting along the outline of the stamped image. It is easy to do, takes a little bit of patience, and the outcome is really nice. Our Details Pro Shears (4 1/2") are perfect for this type of cutting.
If you use a dark color for the full card base, be sure to put a layer of light card stock inside of the card so you can easily write a note.
