With this card I used all 4 dies ... one each (cuff and stocking) cuts the item, when the design plate embosses. It is a two step process, but worth the effort. Directions are for the Amaze and for the Journey Platinum Machines.
1. Using Pomegranate Splash card stock .... Sandwich is:
Platform
Cutting Plate
Card stock
Stocking Frame cut side down
Stocking Design .. design side down
A bit of removable tape to hold in place (this is very important)
Cutting plate
Now crank through your machine.
2. Gently remove the top cutting plate. Flip over the card stock and die onto the platform being sure cutting side is now facing up. Sandwich is:
Platform
Frame Die & Design die facing up with card stock still attached.
Tan Mat
Green Embossing Plate
Now crank through your machine. Carefully remove the tape, then take apart the card stock and the dies.
Do the same as above for the stocking cuff dies and Whip Cream Card Stock. The 2nd step really adds to the depth of the embossing. Worth the extra time.
I outlined some of the embossing on the cuff with Journey Glaze, then added Journey Sparkle Cuts. Stocking is flat against the Journey Brushed Silver Card Stock card base, and the cuff was attached with Journey Foam Squares.
