Color Me Washi Tape - Fun Stampers Journey

With the coloring craze being in high gear, here's a fun way to color using "Color Me Washi" tape from Fun Stampers Journey.

Following are 3 examples using the same design of washi tape, but using different mediums to color the leaves in.

Colored in with Journey Color Splash Pencils Jm-0078
(watercolor pencils)
Blended easily.

Journey Color Burst Pencils  JM-0077
(pure color pencils --- wax based with a light oil coating)
Little more rough in appearance because of the washi texture.

Colored with Rich Sorbet PanPastels JM-0082
Used small handled Sofft Tool to color in.
Easy to do, and erasable if you make a mistake.

I was surprised at how easy it was to use each of these products on the Color Me Washi Tape from Fun Stampers Journey.   Each style has it own unique look.

I actually left these cards with just the leaves colored it.   Thought it really made them POP.   I did add in a sentiment to the front of two of them before mailing.

Fun Stampers Journey has five (5) different styles of Color Me Washi Tape:
Mother Nature Color Me Washi Tape AC-0238 (shown above)
Party Pop Color Me Washi Tape AC-0237
Rich Sorbets Color Me Washi Tape AC-0236
Confectionary Days Color Me Washi Tape AC-0235
Slice of Life Color Me Washi Tape AC-0234

The Color Me Washi tape is "approximately 2 inches wide and 15 yards on the roll.   Gently remove it from the roll.  If you pull too hard or quickly, it will case the washi to rip.

Washi Tape is self sticking and can be removed if it has just gently been set on the card stock.

Great idea to add to a card, scrap book, or other project you are working on.
