Oh my gosh, this last week has been a whirlwind of change
with Fun Stampers Journey. As you are aware from my earlier e-mail, Fun
Stampers Journey is moving away from being a Direct Sales Platform Company and
merging with Spellbinders. Greg Tipsord is the CEO for both
Spellbinders and Fun Stampers Journey. Both companies have the same
investors too. Spellbinders makes our dies and our machines, so
lots in common.
With the merge comes a change in selling platforms … we will
go from Direct Sales to having an Hybrid Retail Platform (Spellbinders is also
in some local stores). As I see it in the new platform (as of 1
November), for me to maintain a similar style of business with the company it
would require me to obtain a business license, tax ID, and a sales tax
license/permit. I have owned my own business before, and honestly,
don’t want to deal with the added stress of sales taxes.
If I only do it via the affiliate link portion of the new
platform, I would receive commissions from each of your orders but I would
never see who placed the order. If there was any problem or question with
the order, you as the customer would have to contact the company
directly. I would not be able to assist in any way. It wouldn’t be
the same customer service I offer now at all. But it also, wouldn’t
be any different than most on-line ordering you do now where if there is a
problem/question you call customer service for the company. I think
that personal touch of customer service makes a big difference.
After much thought and discussion, I have made the decision
to not continue on November 1 with the new merged company Spellbinders/Fun
Stampers Journey. It really was a hard decision to
make. I have loved being a Coach and working with my wonderful
customer base. Each of you and my team (along with lots of hard
work too) have made me successful in the journey during the last three
years. I couldn’t of done it without you.
My business website https://www.funstampersjourney.com/marydirector
will be active through the end of this month, so you can still place
orders through me. I will have access to the back office
through the end of November. As result I will be able to do
follow-up on all orders, even ones placed at the end of October. So
if there is something you want/need, please don’t hesitate to place your order
with me. I am still here to see it through and provide the exact
same customer service you have come to expect.
If you have any questions, please let me know. When we
have the new website link I will be sure to send it out to you. That way
you can continue to purchase our products.
Thank you for believing in me!
I am NOT going away, I still plan to post here to my blog. I'm just not going to be doing this as a business as of 1 November 2018.
